Jet Ski Hire - Yamaha VX Deluxe 130HP

Get out on the water this summer on one of our high quality Jet Skis!

All our Jet Ski’s are three seater YAMAHA’s, promising a speedy run through the waters.

Choose from 1 hour, 3 hour, 5 hour and 8 hour hire.

 

    PRICING

    Bookings available from 1st October – January 31st 

    Trading hours are 8am – 6pm daily 

    1 Hour Hire – $250
    3 Hours Hire – $400
    Half Day Hire (5hrs) – $550
    Full Day Hire (8hrs) – $800

    A $500 bond is taken prior to hire and will be refunded, minus the cost of fuel used, after the ski has been returned in the same condition (no damage)

    NEED TO KNOW

    A PCW endorsement (Jet Ski License) is required to operate a Jet Ski on the Victorian Waters by Law.

     

    Safety Equipment:
    Your jet ski will come with the required safety equipment by Marine Safety Victoria however, it is recommended you read the following before hiring one of our Jet Ski’s.

    • Operators, masters and passengers must wear an approved personal floatation device (PFD) at all times
    • Waterproof buoyant torch must be carried on board
    • Registered EPIRB must be carried on board, if operating more than 2km from the coast
    ** This is not provide in your hire. Please ensure one is carried if chosen to go beyond 2km offshore. **

    All safety equipment required to be carried onboard must be in good working order and placed in a conspicuous and readily accessible position at all times.

    SPEED AND DISTANCE

    PWC operators must ride at specific speeds and distances from other vessels, swimmers, the shore and some fixed objects.
    Some waterways have local rules. Rules for each waterway are specified in the Guide to Vessel Operating and Zoning Rules (VOZR) or check with the local waterway manager.

    On all state waters
    A speed limit of 5 knots (9.26 Kph) applies within:
    • 50 metres of a person in the water
    • 100 metres of a vessel or buoy on which a dive flag is displayed
    • 50 metres of another vessel.

    Inland waters
    A speed limit of 5 knots applies within:
    • 50 metres of the waters’ edge
    • 50 metres of a fixed or floating structure in or on the water including a wharf, jetty, slipway or boat launching ramp (except in an access lane).

    Coastal waters and enclosed waters
    A speed limit of 5 knots applies within:
    • 200 metres of the waters’ edge
    • 50 metres of a wharf, jetty, slipway, diving platform or boat ramp.

    CARRYING CAPACITY

    The PWC capacity plate will specify the number of people able to be carried.
    Generally for PWC’s, it is one person per seat. So, for a three seater PWC, three people may be carried.

    TOWING

    Towing behind one of our jet skis is prohibited.
    We do not allow towing due to past errors that have occurred by the operator of the vessel.
    Anyone caught towing behind one of our jet skis will have their hire terminated with no refund.

     

    ACCESS LANES

    An access lane is an area set aside for towed water sports such as water-skiing. Access lanes can be found on many inland waters.
    If you are dropping off or picking up a water-skier you may operate at a reasonable speed that is greater than 5 knots.

    Before you book please know that we DO NOT offer refunds. Once you have selected your time and date for your hire, please make sure you check the weather prior to paying for your booking, as we will not issue any refunds if you cancel due to weather.

    As Covid is well established in our day to day life now, ensuring the safety our yourself and all customers is apparent. Cancelling due to ‘Covid’ will only result in the refund of your bond, not your hire fee.
